According to Tim Kring, the showrunner of Heroesa remake of the cult superhero series is currently in preparation.
Series Heroes was a huge success that definitely left its mark from the start. Spanning 4 seasons and 77 episodes between 2006 and 2010, Tim Kring’s series managed to gather a large fanbase, while winning numerous awards, including a BAFTA, an Emmy nomination and two Golden Globe nominations.
Conversely, its sequel, Heroes Reborn, was much less appreciated by the public and critics, which cut short any hypothetical additional spin-offs. But luckily for fans of the universe, showrunner Tim Kring recently revealed that the remake of Heroes was in preparation.

Heroes: Eclipsed, the new heroes
According to Deadlinethe showrunner would therefore consider bringing back Heroes a second time, with this new project named Heroes: Eclipsed. Ironically, the pitch for the series was presented to potential buyers during the week of the solar eclipse and the eclipse phenomenon is of course an essential element of the original series and its universe (hence its logo).
Written by Tim Kring, Heroes: Eclipsed would take place years after the events of the parent series, as new humans awaken and discover powers that will change their lives. Featuring familiar villains and new enemies who will once again attempt to take down these evolved humans, It will be up to this new group of heroes to save the world.

Fans will probably be happy to learn thatHeroes still has a chance to return to our screens. If this is the case, this sequel will nevertheless have to manage to rediscover the quality which made the success of the first series, while avoiding the errors of the second. Also, it will have to succeed in finding a place in the now overcrowded landscape of superheroic productions (thanks Marvel). But if The Boys was able to do it, why not Heroes: Eclipsed ?
However, it should be kept in mind that this sequel is only in its development stage, and that there is still a long way to go before this remake of Heroes comes to us. You will have to be patient.
