What does it talk about ? In Sweden, a young woman, member of the indigenous Sami people, follows the trail of a killer to settle a personal score. A poignant drama inspired by true events.
Why should you watch it? Stolen tells the story of an indigenous Sami family living in the north of Sweden who see their means of living reduced to nothing. The reindeer they raise are in fact constantly hunted by poachers. Helen, a young girl from this family, decides to speak out to make her situation known to as many people as possible. She quickly learns that standing up for what is right only fuels the burning hatred towards her Sámi roots.
Stolen promises a film between revenge and activisme, while raising awareness about a little-known cause. The fight led by Helen is both beautiful and desperate to watch.
Stop or my mother will shoot

One of Stallone’s biggest failures
What does it talk about ? The story of detective Joe Bomowski, forced to solve a homicide alongside his mother Tutti, while trying to win back his ex.
Why should you watch it? Because Stop or my mother will shoot!, it is one of the most famous failures of Sylvester Stallone, who used the film to try to modernize his image, which has been a little less appreciated since the beginning of the 90s (and also to steal the role from Arnold Schwarzenegger). This comedy has thus become one of the symbols of the career of the actor of Italian origin, he who was able to reach many heights, but also suffer various disappointments.
Alongside Estelle Getty (who plays his friendly mother), the two form an explosive duo inspired by Throw mom out of the train. There is no doubt that you will have a good time watching this old-fashioned detective comedy, which is in any case worth the detour just for its story and its place in Stallone’s filmography.

What does it talk about ? In the 19th century, a Russian aristocrat defies the taboos by living an extramarital love affair with the rich Count Vronsky.
Why should you watch it? If he was able to make detours in the contemporary world with The Soloist Or Hannah, filmmaker Joe Wright returns to his first loves: literary adaptations and costume films. He attacks Tolstoy and attacks Anna Karenina. Keira Knightley plays the eponymous heroine who falls in love with Count Vronsky, played by a very young Aaron Taylor-Johnson. A true time journey in 19th century Russia, the film seeks to innovate on the work of Tolstoy by containing the action almost entirely to one theater.
The result is a feature film that plays on space and declares its love for both cinema and theater. Imperfect, but daring, it is worth paying attention to. The film therefore manages to stand out from the 1997 version, and is a welcome rereading.
